The use of Environ® Skincare products should always be under the guidance and recommendation of a qualified Environ skincare professional. Environ® Skincare products contain active ingredients that may cause adverse reactions in some individuals, especially if used incorrectly or without proper supervision.
Before using any Environ® Skincare products, we strongly recommend that you consult with an Environ® Skincare professional to determine the best products and regimen for your individual skin type and concerns. It is important to disclose any relevant medical history or allergies to your skincare professional to ensure that the products are safe for your use.
Environ® Skincare products should be used in accordance with the instructions provided on the product packaging and by your skincare professional. If you experience any adverse reactions, discontinue use and ask your environ therapist to assess your skin and guide you on which environ products to use to calm the skin down.
Allergic reactions: Some people may be allergic to certain active ingredients in Environ products. If you experience any allergic reactions such as redness, swelling, itching, or a rash, stop using the product immediately and seek medical attention if necessary. Please note you cannot be allergic to Vitamin A because it is a natural ingredient for the skin and body. We all have vitamin A naturally in our skin and body as it is a DNA normaliser, which means that it keeps the nucleus of each cell healthy and functioning as a normal cell. This is why we call vitamin A the skin normaliser and DNA regulator.
We need vitamin A in our bodies for our cells to develop as normal healthy cells and to protect the cells from malfunctioning. People often confuse a reaction to Vitamin A to be an allergic action, but what it merely means is that the skin has been given too much vitamin A too quickly which causes redness, flakiness, and irritated skin. This reaction will be less likely to occur if you introduce the skin to low doses of Vitamin A to start with and gradually introduce the skin to higher concentrations as the skin acclimatises to the vitamin A.
Sensitivity: Environ products contain active ingredients that may cause sensitivity or irritation in some individuals. If you experience any sensitivity or irritation, reduce the frequency of use, or discontinue use altogether and consult an Environ Skincare professional.
Sun sensitivity: Some of the active ingredients may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. It is important to use a sunscreen with adequate UVA and UVB protection such as the RAD SPF15 and avoid excessive sun exposure.
If you are new to using Environ® Skincare, you need to start on level one of either the Skin EssentiA® Moisturiser or Youth EssentiA® Serum in combination with the Defence Crème. You will need to use 2-3 bottles of each level before you can move onto the next to avoid your skin reacting to the active ingredients. We advise that you START LOW AND GO SLOW.
It is important to note that you will not get quicker results if you do not follow this advice. The vitamin A and other active ingredients in the Environ® products have been scientifically researched by Dr Des Fernandes and the Environ research and development team to identify how well the skin can tolerate the increase in vitamin A and antioxidant concentrations.
