Static wrinkles are the kind that stays on your face, even when it’s at rest.
The thing that both these kinds of wrinkles have in common is that they suck, that’s why this month we’re focussing on anti-ageing for your eyes!
Whether you’re a therapist or a client, it’s always good to know what to expect when you’re getting a treatment done. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of steps, a how-to-guide to performing a Mini Eye Facial Treatment using Environ® Products.
If you’re a therapist reading this guide, please ensure that you use a steamer for steps 1 – 7.
Pre-cleanse the whole face using Environ’s Pre-Cleanser.
Environ’s Professional Pre-Cleanser is a gentle pre-cleanser that assists in dissolving excess surface oils and removing environmental pollutants from the skin.
To ensure the skin is properly cleansed, pre-cleansing is essential.
Apply Clay Masque over pre-cleanser and micro-exfoliate for 5 minutes over the whole face.
The Clay Masque is a luxurious masque that assists in absorbing excess surface oils, while also gently polishing the skin’s surface, leaving it feeling smoother, looking more radiant and defined.
This Masque is also a micro-exfoliant, which assists with refining the skin’s texture and reducing the appearance of blocked pores.
Remove eye make-up with the Eye Make-Up Remover.
Environ’s Eye Make-Up Remover is a specially formulated, oil-free product to be used around the delicate eye area. It’s specially designed to remove non-waterproof makeup, leaving the skin feeling refreshed and moisturised.
Remove Clay Masque with a compress.
After the 5 minutes of micro exfoliation are up, remove the masque by using a warm compress.
Cleanse with Cleansing Gel and remove with a compress.
Environ’s Cleansing Gel is a richly foaming gel cleanser that removes residual oil from the surface of the skin to help enhance professional treatments.
Blot the skin with Alpha Toner Mild.
The mild Alpha Hydroxy Acid Toner is used to help restore the natural skin pH in preparation for the treatment phase.
Apply a Hydrating Oil Capsule around the eye area.
These capsules deliver a concentrated burst of vitamin-enriched hydration for the skin. Containing a blend of Retinol and Antioxidants, they may help to protect the skin against the damaging effects of free radicals. They assist in enriching skin with natural surface oils, leaving it looking visibly refreshed and energised.
Apply a thin layer of Clay Masque and massage into the skin for three minutes.
Adding the Clay Masque at this phase of the treatment assists in locking in all the vitamins and added goodness.
Apply Moisturiser over the whole face.
The AVST moisturisers are part of Environ’s infamous Step-Up system. They contain concentrations of vitamin A and C. This light moisturising cream contains a variety of antioxidants as well as moisturisers that leave your skin feeling revitalised and refreshed.
Don’t forget to ALWAYS finish off your treatments by using a good quality SPF, we recommend RAD or the Alpha Day Lotion.
